MIS manages two domain servers for the College of Engineering.
Primary Domain Name Server:
128.227.116.1
Secondary Domain Name Server:
128.227.116.7
MIS can hold primary start of authority (SOA)
for forward (domain name) or reverse (subnet) DNS for any College
of Engineering units. If your unit holds primary SOA we can act
as a secondary to back-up your DNS zone files. If we are SOA
for a domain, we use at least one secondary DNS server outside
our network so you will have DNS service if our network is down.
