BIND (Berkeley Internet Name Domain)
is an implementation of the Domain Name System (DNS) protocols
and provides
an openly redistributable reference implementation of the
major components of the Domain Name System.
The Cyrus IMAP server differs from other IMAP server implementations
in that it is generally intended to be run on sealed servers,
where normal users are not permitted to log in. The mailbox
database is stored in parts of the filesystem that are private
to the Cyrus IMAP system.
Qpopper is the most widely-used server
for the POP3 protocol (this allows users to access their
mail using any POP3 client). Qpopper supports the latest
standards, and includes a large number of optional features.
