Condolences for Gator Engineering graduate student

In News

Engineering students, faculty and staff are mourning the loss of one of our newest graduate students. Krishnendu “Krish” Saha came to UF from India this fall to study electrical and computer engineering. His accidental death last Saturday at his apartment complex leaves us with a great sense of loss – he was just starting out at UF but he had tremendous potential.

The loss of one our students is never easy. We send our condolences to Krish’s family and friends, as well as our community members at the India Cultural & Education Center in Gainesville, where he had begun making local connections. If anyone feels that they need extra support during this difficult time, please do not hesitate to contact Student Affairs or the UF Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC).

With Sympathies,

Dr. Angela Lindner
Associate Dean, Student Affairs

Dr. John Harris
Chair, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
