Gators’ first 2015 enrollee will be a Gator Engineer

The first enrollee for the 2015 Florida Gators football team will also be a Gator Engineer. Daniel Imatorbhebhe (pronounced “EE-mat-tor-beh-beh”) is planning to study Industrial & Systems Engineering, in addition to being a tight end under the direction of new head coach Jim McElwain.

In a recent interview with a Scout Recruiting reporter, Imatorbhebhe – who had several offers to consider – was asked how he made his decision to come to UF.

“It was the place I felt most comfortable, the place I felt most at home. Florida also has the greatest opportunities for me after football with industrial engineering and all the great opportunities within the range of Gainesville. Knowing how extensive the Florida alumni base is and getting all those connections would also be huge and was a big factor for me deciding on Florida.”
