Visit the College of Engineering
Information sessions and tours of engineering facilities are scheduled at 12:50 on selected Fridays throughout the academic year.
Prospective students and parents are invited to attend. Combine your engineering visit with a trip to the
UF Welcome Center for a presentation by the Admissions Office and a campus tour.
Tutoring ScheduleWe offer free tutoring to all students in the College of Engineering. Schedules are updated each semester.
Student Success WorkshopsOur workshops provide the nuts and bolts of time management, problem solving, test preparation, learning styles, creating a four-year plan and more. Schedules are revised each semester.
Mentoring OpportunitiesHelp other students while adding to your resume! Student Affairs provides engineering students with a number of short-term and long-term mentoring opportunities.
Transfer StudentsIf you're coming to the College of Engineering from one of Florida's community colleges, or from another university, we have several resources created especially for you.
Freshman ProgramsWe do our best to help freshmen connect with the College of Engineering and have a successful first year. StepUp and EFTP are two programs created especially for our newest Gator Engineers.
Middle School & High School ProgramsWe're committed to investing in future Gator Engineers. One way we do this is to work directly with students in Gainesville's middle schools and high schools. From our Engineering GatorTRAX math excellence program to our summer camps, we provide many opportunities for kids to experience Gator Engineering.
