This summer, the College of Engineering will be hosting three on-campus summer camps: 1) PEEK for middle school students, 2) Project Athena for middle school girls, and 3) Eye on Engineering for high school students. PEEK and Project Athena will be held on June 5-9, 2006, and Eye on Engineering will be held June 5-7, 2006. All camps run from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. The camps are designed to introduce local area youth to the world of engineering, to increase their understanding of math and science, and to provide them with positive role models. Counselor responsibilities include interacting with participants, group leadership, and developing and executing at least one group engineering-related activity. Counselors must be able to work at least 15 hours during the week (we will work around your class schedule). Pay is $6.40 per hour.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY May 19, 2006.
