Ease Your Transition to UF: Attend the Transfer Student Transition Program
In addition to attending the required UF Transfer Preview, we strongly suggest that engineering transfer students also attend the Transfer Student Transition Program. This College of Engineering workshop connects you with engineering faculty, administrators, and fellow classmates. It also provides you with an introduction to common engineering courses, the essentials on finding co-op and internships, important advice on making the transition to our university, and valuable information on College of Engineering resources and research opportunities. This orientation program has a proven record of success—students who attend consistently out-perform students who do not. In fact, those who attend out-perform students who started at UF as freshmen!

The Transfer Student Transition Program is held each year before the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters.
