Abstract
This statement covers the work done by the PI Nancy Ruzycki, Ph.D., at the University of Florida, Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering for the State of Florida.
The project description is to support the State of Florida in implementing a professional development model for teachers to prepare them to teach the new State Artificial Intelligence Frameworks in grades 9-12. This professional development model is an 80-hour (one-year) program consisting of a forty-hour initial summer training, eight hours of follow-up training in two sessions, 16 hours of professional learning community sessions and 16 hours of one-on-one coaching.
