Aroba Saleem received a B. Tech. degree, in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, India, M. Tech. degree, Materials Engineering, from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Powai, Mumbai, India and Ph.D. degree, in Materials Engineering, from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She also worked as a Post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Physics and Space Science, Royal Military College of Canada. She is currently working as an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Education and primarily teaches courses in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Her research interests include Engineering Education, Magnetic and Material Characterization of Materials, Residual Stress Measurement, Nanoindentation, Non-Oriented Electrical Steel, Magnetic Barkhausen Noise Measurements.​
