Dr. Pamela Dickrell is the Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and Instructional Professor with the Department of Engineering Education (EED). Her research focuses on effective teaching methods and hands-on learning opportunities for undergraduate student engagement and retention including first- and second-year student experiences, hands-on makerspace-based learning, and the impact of peer mentoring on student success in STEM.  Dr. Dickrell received her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, specializing in Tribology.
