The Florida Engineering Experiment Station (FLEX) has a special responsibility to the citizens of Florida to provide resources that enable the industry to thrive. One core component of our service to the industry is the development and education of the workforce. Through robust K-12 outreach that aims to increase interest in STEM careers and through continuing education and professional development offerings that up-skill our current workforce, UF, and the Florida Engineering Experiment Station contribute to the highly skilled workforce needed for economic growth and development.
