K-12 Gator Outreach

K-12 Gator Outreach

The UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering is committed to supporting the next generation of STEM professionals through outreach and engagement with K-12 students throughout the state of Florida. Our efforts partner with major engineering corporations such as ExxonMobil, Texas Instruments, and Kraft as well as the Florida Department of Education to engage with the K-12 educational system to build a greater pipeline of students pursuing education and careers in STEM-related disciplines.

Through our K-12 Gator Outreach (K-12 GO) programs, we expose K-12 students to the world of engineering through visits to the University campus, in-school visits, and diverse experiential learning activities that inspire a deeper curiosity and interest in STEM.
