Industry Programs Coordinator
Jason Krywko, a local business executive, joined UF Innovation Station Sarasota County as its industry programs coordinator in November 2016. He is the co-founder and former Chief Operating Officer of Sleek Audio, a Bradenton-based company that manufactures customizable earphones.
In his new role, Jason will help businesses in Sarasota County to foster applied research collaborations with faculty at the University of Florida, and to develop internship and workforce pipelines with students at the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.
Prior to joining UF Innovation Station, Jason spent over 19 years in the hearing aid and high-end industries working as manufacturing manager, marketing sales director and now business consultant. He is the recipient of several awards including the Popular Science Magazines “Best of What’s New Award” and two Best of Innovations awards at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2009 and 2010.
Jason also serves on the advisory board for the College of Business at USF Sarasota/Manatee and the Community Leadership Committee and is an active advocate for domestic production and on-shoring of engineering and manufacturing jobs.
Jason is a graduate of the University of South Florida’s MUMA College of Business.
