The Gator Engineering at State College of Florida (SCF) program, a collaboration between the University of Florida Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), funded generously by the Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation, is an innovative way to earn a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Florida.
Fast Facts about Gator Engineering at SCF:
This program is offered only to students from the seven county region that includes Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee, Polk, Lee, and Sarasota.
Students need to complete and submit the University of Florida Freshman Application by November 1st deadline and meet the minimum University of Florida admission requirements as deemed by the office of admission to be invited/considered for this program.
Students who apply to Innovation Academy cannot be considered for the Gator Engineering at SCF.

- Aerospace Engineering (AE)*
- Computer Engineering (CpE)
- Computer Science (CSE)
- Digital Arts and Sciences (DAS)
- Electrical Engineering (EE)
