Junior Preview is a prospective Ph.D. student recruiting campus visit program hosted across all engineering departments at the University of Florida by the Office of Graduate Recruitment and Undergraduate Research and volunteers from Engineering Graduate Student Council, GradNSBE, GradSHPE, and GradSWE. Individual engineering departments may offer a fall Virtual program.  Contact Dept Graduate Staff for more details. 

Students applying for a fall 2026 engineering Ph.D. degree at the University of Florida will be considered for the Junior Preview. Students must submit a brief application, unofficial transcripts, resume, statement of Ph.D. interest to UF, and optional letters of recommendation for consideration. The Junior Preview provides the opportunity for a select group of prospective engineering Ph.D. students to have an early visit to campus. Time is spent visiting an engineering department of interest, meeting current graduate students, talking to faculty, participating in social events, and virtually seeing the campus and Gainesville.
