Master’s admissions into Gator Engineering programs is intensely competitive. The first step is to pick which department you’d like to join. There are 10 within our college, each with its own culture and research focus. You’ll send application materials to both the university Graduate School and to your desired department. In the end, the department itself will decide whether or not to admit you.
Most of our MS programs do not offer funding beyond the $4,500 Academic Achievement Award for Non-Florida Residents. A few competitive research or teaching assistantships can become available for Master’s students but typically in their second year of study. By applying by the deadline for your desired MS program, you will automatically be under consideration for all available engineering funding options.
