UF to host the first SEC Student Pitch Competition to be held at an SEC university on November 13, 2017.
The Southeastern Conference (SEC), the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering / Engineering Innovation Institute, and the Warrington College of Business / Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation are proud to bring the first-ever on-campus SEC Student Pitch Competition to the University of Florida. The competition will bring together the champion student entrepreneurship team from each SEC university to compete and be crowned SEC champion.
The SEC Pitch Competition is a graduate and undergraduate level competition that provides a snapshot of the entrepreneurial student teams that the innovation and entrepreneurship programs within the SEC universities are developing.
The leaders from each SEC university entrepreneurship center will bring their top team to “pitch-off” against each other. A panel of esteemed judges will select three finalists who will then present during a reception in the Evans Championship Club at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The finalists will be competing for the title of SEC Student Pitch Competition champion and other awards and prizes.
