Engineering Students Invited to Participate in ‘Leadership and the Morrill Act’ Event

In celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Morrill Act, the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the College of Engineering and the Military Sciences have come together to present: Leadership and the Morrill Act: A 19th Century Initiative with 21st Century Implications.

Gator Engineering students are invited to participate in a unique academic event that explores how agriculture, engineering and the military contribute to 21st Century leadership. A panel of experts representing these areas will discuss new century leadership; participants will work in teams on a case study relevant to leadership and the future.

The event will take place on Thursday, January 31 from 4:15pm to 7:30pm at the Straughn Professional Development Center at 2142 Shealy Drive, UF Campus. The registration is free to College of Engineering students and a meal will be provided, but registration is required as space is limited.
