Gator Engineering grad students build unmanned aircraft to survey wildlife

Working across disciplines with wildlife biologists at UF, graduate students in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering have developed a 14-pound aircraft with a high-resolution digital camera that can photograph and help document nests without disturbing bird populations.
