Environmental Engineering assistant professor Barron Henderson and his graduate students spent the week in Isaac’s path, collecting data and monitoring the storm. As part of a larger effort by the Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment (ESSIE) toward building houses to better withstand hurricanes, Henderson, along with fellow “storm chaser” Forrest Masters, an associate professor in civil engineering, is on a mission to take Isaac back into the lab by collecting real-time data.
