Gator Engineers, Karthik Kadrivel and Sona Muthuvijayan, won the Jacksonville Startup Weekend event this past weekend with their online app Moojic.
Kadrivel and Muthuvijayan, along with team members Kumaran Mahendran and Neha Behani, beat out 17 other startups from around Florida to claim the win.
Moojic is a web-based jukebox app that lets users personalize the music that is played on sound systems at sponsoring bars and restaurants.
The 54-hour Startup Weekend helps aspiring entrepreneurs to develop their startup ideas and test their viability.
