 limatic variability"\nBio:\nDr. Vivek Sharma is an Assistant Professor and
  Precision Water Management Specialist in the Department of Agricultural a
 nd Biological Engineering at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D
 . and M.S. in Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering from the Uni
 versity of Nebraska–Lincoln and his B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering f
 rom Punjab Agricultural University\, India. Dr. Sharma’s research focuse
 s on precision agricultural water management\, including irrigation schedu
 ling\, soil moisture sensing\, crop water productivity\, and the impact of
  climate variables on crop performance. He integrates field-level observat
 ions with remote sensing and GIS modeling to inform regional-scale water m
 anagement decisions. His extension work promotes practical\, cost-effectiv
 e tools and technologies that help producers and stakeholders improve wate
 r use efficiency\, reduce agricultural water use\, and minimize impacts on
  water quality.
