SUMMARY:Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Webinar Series Part 2 - Inte
rpretation\, Measurement and Analysis of EIS
DESCRIPTION:Title: Interpretation\, Measurement and Analysis of EIS\nPresen
ted by: Mark E. Orazem\, Ph.D.\nAnalysis of impedance data requires unders
tanding of both the chemistry and physics of the system under investigatio
n and the error structure of the data. The section will cover the stochast
ic and bias contributions to the error structure\; the use of the measurem
ent model program to assess the stochastic error structure\, identify the
portion of the measurement that is not consistent with the Kramers-Kronig
relations\, and identify the part of the measurement confounded by nonunif
orm current and potential distributions\; a systematic approach to model d
evelopment based on electrode geometry and proposed reaction mechanisms\,
regression of the model to impedance data\; and interpretation of constant
-phase-element model parameters in terms of meaningful quantities such as
 capacitance.\nRegistration Link: https://bit.ly/4sYuJhX\nSponsored by:\n\n
