EPI Research Day 2025 is just around the corner! Join the UF Emerging Pathogens Institute on Thursday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

Italian and WHO expert consultant Massimo Ciccozzi, Ph.D., will present on “The last five years of epidemics: Did people or nature open Pandora’s box?” Later in the afternoon, Mount Sinai associate professor Alberto Paniz-Mondolfi, M.D., Ph.D., will discuss “The hunt for pathogens: Exploring microbial diversity in Latin America.”
You are in for a fantastic event with over 170 posters, two keynote talks, and several exhibit booths. We have a lot of activities in store for this year, including four poster competitions, free merch, a photo booth, and raffle prizes! All attendees will be provided breakfast, refreshments, and lunch, and parking information will be sent out closer to the event date.
