Dennis McKearin, PhD Senior Scientific Officer HHMI will be giving a talk on the Howard Hughes Investigator competition

Faculty from all colleges are invited to attend.
Following the talk there will be an open forum 4pm – 5 pm. Location TBD.
About the HHMI Investigator competition: open to basic researchers and physician scientists who bring innovative approaches to the study of biological problems in basic and biomedical sciences, plant biology, evolutionary biology, biophysics, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, and computational biology.
Applications for this year’s competition are due March 18, 2020.
Eligible applicants must hold a PhD and/or MD, hold a tenure-track faculty position and have a track record of peer-reviewed funding.
Date of first faculty appointment must be after March 1, 2005 and before April 1, 2015.
