TAME Forum’s objective is to provide a bi-annual platform to researchers in academia, and practitioners in industry and government to discuss innovative solutions in the domain of trusted microelectronics in today’s globalized and complex supply chain, discuss grand challenges and identify collaboration opportunities. One major outcome of the TAME Forum is expected to be the first ever “National Technology Roadmap for Trusted and Assured Microelectronics”.
Such a roadmap will be beneficial to researchers and practitioners in the field, and facilitate development of innovative technologies for modern integrated circuits and systems designed and fabricated across the globe. The aggressive scaling of technology nodes down to 7nm,and the shift to horizontal design and fabrication models has made trust and assurance a major concern to fabless semiconductor companies and the US government. This forum is intended to bring together the best minds in the field to discuss these challenges, facilitate sharing ideas and best practices, help develop standards, accelerate development of trust and assurance technologies, and finally establish a roadmap for future research and developments.
