The Florida Engineering Society (FES) and Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers (FICE) honored State Representative Lake Ray, District 12, with the Governor A.W. Gilchrist Award at the Florida capitol this month. The award celebrates engineers who exemplify high standards by embracing the spirit of public service and bring honor to the engineering profession through their civil works.
Ray earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UF in ’81.
