Two engineering professors named Fellows of the National Academy of Inventors

Two Gator Engineering professors are among 170 new Fellows of the National Academy of Inventors, which recognizes the contributions of researchers from universities and non-profit organizations who are named inventors on U.S. patents.

Brij M. Moudgil, a distinguished professor of materials science and engineering and W. Gregory Sawyer, a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, are being recognized for their contributions to innovation in areas such as patents and licensing, innovative discovery and technology, significant impact on society, and support and enhancement of innovation.
