Below is list of the current and prior fellowship recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2018 Fellows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To be determined in the winter. If interested, please follow this link for more information:<br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eng.ufl.edu\/nimet\/nimet-fellowship\/\">Robert C.\u00a0Pittman\u00a0NIMET Fellowship<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2017 Fellows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Connor Smith<\/strong> went to the University of Alabama and received his M.S. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Currently he is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Abbas Furniturewalla<\/strong> went to Rutgers University &#8211; New Brunswick and received his B.S. in Electrical and computer Engineering. Currently he is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ellie Ahlquist<\/strong> went to the University of Nebraska &#8211; Lincoln and received her B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering. Currently she is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at UF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>L. Savannah Dewberry<\/strong> went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Currently she is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Taylor Yeater<\/strong> went to The Ohio State University and received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Currently she is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bethsymarie Soto Morales<\/strong> went to the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Currently she is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2016 Fellows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ulbert Botero<\/strong>\u00a0is a Ph.D student at the Florida Institute of Cyber Security. He joined UF after receiving his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>David Christianson<\/strong> is a Ph.D student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. He joined UF after earning a\u00a0B.S degree\u00a0in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pablo Dopico<\/strong>\u00a0is a Ph.D student in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He joined UF after earning his M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>David Keister<\/strong> went to St Ambrose University in Iowa and received his bachelors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ryan Madler<\/strong> is a Ph.D student in the Department of Electrical Computer Engineering. He joined UF after earning his B.S in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emily Turner<\/strong>\u00a0is a PH.D. student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. She joined UF after earning a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering\u00a0at the\u00a0University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2015 Fellows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Keisha Castillo-Torres<\/strong> is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. \u00a0She joined UF after earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Brett Freidkes<\/strong> is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. \u00a0He earned a\u00a0B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florida.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cadron Pickett<\/strong> is a Ph.D. student in the Physics Department. \u00a0He\u00a0joined UF after earning a B.S. in Physics at Louisiana State University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2013 Fellows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Danielle Fagnani<\/b> is a Ph.D. student in the Chemistry Dept. She joined UF in 2013 after earning a B.S. in Chemistry from Drexel University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Jose Varillas<\/b> is a Ph.D. student in the Biomedical Engineering Dept. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Florida.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2012 Fellows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Tarielle Sanders<\/b> is a Ph.D. student in the Materials Science &amp; Engineering Dept. studying piezoelectric thin films under the advisement of Prof. Jacob Jones. She joined UF in 2012 after earning a B.S. in Chemistry from Norfolk State University. <a href=\"http:\/\/jjones.mse.ufl.edu\/\">(link)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Justin Chew<\/b> is a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering Dept. studying the use of anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) templates for controlling the physical characteristics (i.e. diameter, length, packing density) of carbon nanotube arrays under the advisement of Prof. Kirk Ziegler.
