During his PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory he developed advanced scanning probe instrumentation including imaging techniques for more sensitive and reliable measurement of electrical surface potentials at the nanometer scale.\u00a0 As CTO at Nanosurf he is currently directing all research and development efforts in one of the world&#8217;s leading scanning probe microscopy companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 46.0651%\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><strong>Scuba Probe Technologies<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Scanning probe microscopy is essential for providing structural and functional imaging at the nanoscale but its limitations when operating in liquids preclude it from reaching its full potential to visualize and elucidate nanoscience processes at the molecular level. For more than a decade, Hull has been an active part of the emerging nanotechnology EHS landscape. In 2009, Hull co-edited the book \u2018Nanotechnology Environmental Health and Safety: Risks, Regulation, and Management\u2019, (Elsevier, London), which is currently in its Third Edition.
