The poster session is open to the entire UF community (i.e., all undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, staff, and faculty). <em>Due to the pandemic, the poster session will be well spaced to allow for adequate social distancing.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>All poster presenters have <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">three<\/span> options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Option 1: Use a New Poster (printed by NIMET):<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Presenters that wish to make a new poster <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">and<\/span> have NIMET print it for them, must use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eng.ufl.edu\/nimet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/227\/2021\/09\/NanoDay-Poster-Template-2020-horizontal.pptx\">NIMET Poster Template<\/a>\u00a0and submit it by the deadline.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Option 2: Use a New Poster (printed by self):<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Presenters that wish to make a new poster and print it themselves, should size their poster to fit the provided poster boards (30&#8243; x 40&#8243;).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Option 3: Use an Existing Poster:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Easels and poster boards will be provided. However, please note that the individual poster boards are 30\u201d x 40\u201d. Presenters with existing posters that can fit this size well are welcome to use them. Presenters with larger posters, should consider bringing their own larger poster boards.<\/p>\n<h4>General Poster Guidelines:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The text on the poster should be large enough to easily read at a viewing distance of 3 feet.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally the text should describe the content of the poster in a manner that would be clear to a reader in the author&#8217;s absence.<\/li>\n<li>Be sure to use scale bars on all images!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Poster Image Upload:<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4675 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eng.ufl.edu\/nimet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/227\/2019\/09\/NanoDay-2018-Poster-Session-Mayur-Ghate-and-Glen-Walters.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"177\" height=\"236\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please upload your poster using the <strong>NanoDay 2023 Poster Image Upload Form<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deadline: <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Friday, September 29th, 2023 (midnight)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Poster setup:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Poster boards and easels will be set up by 8 a.m. Monday, October 9th.<\/li>\n<li>Please be sure your poster is in place no later than 1:00 p.m., since the NanoDay events start at that time.<\/li>\n<li>Presenters should be at their posters during the poster session (1:00 pm to 3:00 pm).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Poster Awards:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Best poster awards will be selected in multiple categories.<\/li>\n<li>Winners in each category will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on
