In support of our mission to establish the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering as the leader in safety culture at UF and beyond, we have added a staff member to the Office of Safety.

We are pleased to introduce James Fleetwood as Laboratory Safety Coordinator. James comes to us with over nine years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety. He has served as a hazardous materials specialist for the past two years, and prior to that was a radiation control technician. James brings great enthusiasm and passion to his work, which will no doubt be evident as you interact with him.
