As the Lab Safety Manager, you stand between safety and chaos – while getting your own research done! Doing both makes you a lab safety superhero! Harness your powers for good by attending this workshop. 

Who Should Attend: One of these trainings is required for students serving as the Lab Safety Manager (LSM), lab safety contact or coordinator for their faculty advisor’s lab for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Initial Training: Students assigned as the Lab Safety Manager (LSM), who did not attend boot camp last fall, or students who will step into the role before fall of 2020.

• Session 1: Tuesday, 10/15; 2:30 – 4:30pm
• Session 2: Wednesday, 10/16 9:30-11:30am
• Session 3: Thursday, 10/17; 1:00 – 3:00pm

Refresher Training: Students who attended Lab Safety Manager (LSM) boot camp in the last year, or who have served as the LSM for more than one year.

• Session 1: Wednesday, 10/16; 3:30-5pm
• Session 2: Thursday, 10/17; 9:30-11am
• Session 3: Friday, 10/18 1:00 – 2:30pm
