With a team of Sarasota-based professionals to serve the region, UFIS-Sarasota County is committed to helping the region\u2019s companies grow and prosper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By the Numbers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>120+ connections with local companies annually to explore the potential for internships, research, and other student engagements. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than 480 Gator Engineers were placed with over 112 different companies from summer 2017 through summer 2025. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than 55 Gator Engineering Interns are accepting full-time positions in the region after graduation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The majority of summer interns hosted are enrolled in the mechanical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science curricula.
