Do I need tickets to attend commencement?
Tickets are not required to attend commencement.

How many guests can I bring?
There is no limit on the number of guests who can attend per student.

Where can my guests stay in Gainesville?

How long is the ceremony?
The ceremony lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

Where can I park?
As commencement does fall on a weekend, parking will be available at the O’Connell Center and campus parking will be lifted.

Is commencement for all engineering majors?
The Commencement on December 16, 2017 will be University wide for Masters, Specialist, Bachelor Degree students in the following Colleges.

  • College of the Arts
  • Warrington College of Business Administration
  • College of Design, Construction and Planning
  • College of Education
  • Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering
  • College of Nursing                                                                                        
  • College of Medicine
  • College of Public Health and Health Professions

What doors can we come in through?
Gates 1 & 2 will be opened 1.5 hours prior to commencement.

Will food be served?
No food will be served at the event.
