Please share in the words from our department chair @vanoostrom in our EED Statement on Diversity and Inclusion https://www.eng.ufl.edu/eed/2020/06/06/eed-statement-on-diversity-and-inclusion/

We had the honor of having Dr. Manu Platt on campus for his diversity & inclusion talk. In 2017, he delivered the BMES Diversity Award Lecture, "The Danger of Acting Now," at the @BMESociety Annual Meeting. @DrPlattLab

Congratulations to our 2020 Ken and Cindy Campbell Graduate Student Travel Scholarship recipient: Taisha Venort! Taisha will be utilizing this scholarship for her research activities in Kenya, with advisement from #UFABE's Dr. Cheryl Palm and Dr. Rafael Muñoz-Carpena.

I'm glad to lead this project to study the potential of micromobility to reduce congestion. In post-COVID-19 recovery, we may see more people switch to active modes, such as e-scooters and bikes, which will promote the sustainability and resilience of transportation systems. https://twitter.com/STRIDE_UTC/status/1268543030375546880
