Engineers’ Week: Celebrating our contributions to society

In Engineering Education, News

Engineers’ Week (eWeek) at the University of Florida is an annual two-week celebration, hosted by the Benton Engineering Council, that celebrates the contributions engineers make to society. It coincides with the national eWeek event, started by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951. A series of events and festivities will highlight what engineers do – including the Engineering & Science Fair, which is expected to draw UF students, as well as elementary, middle, high school students from around the state. eWeek will highlight the collaborative, communicative, and interdisciplinary environment that is home to Gator Engineering.
