We’re hosting our third Industry Speaker Zoom Series next Wednesday, November 12 at 4:00 PM EST! Join us to hear from Bryan Conrad, PhD. Bryan is a Senior Manager at Brooks Running, where he leads a team that is focused on creating innovative running footwear. His work impacts all types of runners, from sprinters to marathoners and from elite athletes to recreational joggers. He is a three-time Gator alum, earning his BS in Engineering Science and his MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida. He began his biomechanics career as a Research Assistant Professor at UF, where he taught and conducted orthopaedic biomechanics research before transitioning to industry. He then served as a Principal Researcher at Nike, first in the basketball division creating innovative products to enhance athlete performance, and later in the biomechanics division leading exploratory research on advanced shoe cushioning concepts.

Bryan will give a 20-minute presentation about his work and how he got to where he is today, followed by time for open Q&A.
