A talk with Joshua Achiam, the Head of Mission Alignment at OpenAI
Joshua Achiam completed his undergrad at UF and earned a PhD from UC Berkeley.
He joined OpenAI as a research scientist focusing on AI Safety and currently serves as head of mission alignment, where he works to ensure OpenAI remains committed to its overarching mission – to develop AGI for the benefit of all.
In his talk, he’ll explore AI safety, the governance of transformative technologies, and how AI may reshape society, work, ad the global economy.
