Join us to explore the world’s most remote classroom!
This 2-credit interdisciplinary program takes you to Antarctica, where you’ll study how humans live, work, and sustain life in extreme conditions. Open to all majors, the course blends environmental science, sustainability, and cultural studies through experiences like glacier observation, wildlife monitoring, and research station visits.
Based in Ushuaia, Argentina, students also examine how local communities balance conservation, tourism, and identity at the “end of the world.”
Come learn how this once-in-a-lifetime program will expand your worldview and prepare you to think globally about the planet’s most pressing challenges.
