UF Branding & Policies
In addition to the branding specific to our college, we follow University of Florida’s brand policies as outlined at the UF Brand Center. Available on this site are:
Fonts
As the primary UF master brand typeface, IBM Plex Sans is often used as body copy and in headlines. It is a clean, friendly typeface that can be used for virtually any typographic application. Its varying weights, from thin to thick, provide dynamic variations to grab the attention of different audiences.

The UF master brand secondary typeface, Anybody, is used only in headlines, subheads and call-outs as a complement to IBM Plex Sans.
Source Serif is an optional serif font. The college generally uses a sans serif, but for more formal pieces, this font could be helpful.
Though the University has made other typography options available, these are the ones the college prefers that all departments and units use.
UF’s expressive font collection was selected to provide campus design professionals with additional tools to elevate their work. The college has made Cinema Script available to design professionals in departments and units. This font can be used for social media posts and advertising pieces.
Non-designers should use only the core brand fonts, as they are easier to use while maintaining a polished, on-brand look.

File Formats
PNG files are intended for screen use (web, email, presentations, etc.). These should not be resized, or quality loss will occur.
EPS files are scalable vector graphics and can be resized infinitely without quality loss. These files are usually preferred by printers and vendors.
RGB logos are for anything that will appear on screens — websites, social media, email, presentations and digital ads. RGB is optimized for light-based displays, ensuring colors appear vibrant and consistent online.
CMYK logos are for anything being printed — brochures, posters, merchandise, business cards and other physical materials. CMYK is designed for ink-based printing, which ensures colors reproduce accurately in print.
