Dr. Jill Biden, second lady of the United States, will speak at the Santa Fe College campus today. She will hear about the first-of-its-kind pipeline program that seamlessly matriculates select students from Santa Fe College into UF College of Engineering. Gator Engineering @ Santa Fe is preparing to welcome its third cohort of students this fall, and thrilled to have Dr. Biden visiting this morning.
Biden has spent much of her career teaching at community colleges, and is a vocal advocate for the important role these institutions play in education.
