Dr. Taylor’s research investigates materials, tools, and techniques to allow for robust and repeatable nanofabrication of structures with atomic-level control of size, shape, position, and chemical composition. Currently, projects are focused on surface modification using scanning probe tip tools to controllably pattern nanostructures, nanomechanical characterization of thin films and nanocomposites, and related nanotechnology education and outreach.
