Spring Visit is a Ph.D. recruiting campus visit program hosted across all engineering departments at the University of Florida in conjunction with the Office of Graduate Recruitment and Undergraduate Research and current graduate student volunteers from each department. Most Ph.D. applicants for the Fall 2026 term who have been admitted and currently residing in the U.S. are in consideration for this “invitation only” event. The 2026 Spring Visit provides the opportunity for prospective students to spend an extended amount of time in an engineering department of interest, visit with faculty, meet current students, and tour the facilities and campus. The Office of Graduate Recruitment and Undergraduate Research covers the cost round-trip airfare or mileage to Gainesville, lodging, meals while on campus, and emergency travel expenses.
