UF Engineering Ph.D. Recruitment Weekend
Welcome to the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering!
Our annual Spring Visit is an exclusive opportunity for prospective Ph.D. students who have submitted their official Ph.D. application and are 1) either admitted or 2) receiving serious consideration for admission. This program allows all attendees to experience life as a Gator Engineer. During this event, you’ll connect with world-class faculty, engage with current graduate students, and explore cutting-edge research that drives innovation across disciplines, takes tours of campus and housing, experience social events and meet other invited Ph.D. students from your cohort. Discover the resources, community, and support that make UF a top destination for engineering scholars. Spring Visit is by invitation only for selected students by our engineering departments and their faculty. Invited students will have all costs covered by UF that includes travel (flights or mileage), hotels, local roundtrip airport shuttles from Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV), on-campus meals, engineering department events and programming, etc. Invitations take place from mid December through late January.
