Students join organizations and design teams to gain experience, join a community of peers working towards a common goal, and build their social and professional networks. It’s up to you to decide which organizations and how many organizations to join! Since you are an engineering student, it is encouraged that you join at least one engineering-related organization. The quality of your involvement (depth of contributions and long-term commitment) is valued more than quantity.

Honor Society, Department Ambassadors: ISEA’s mission is to seek and support the growth & improvement of the University of Florida Industrial & Systems Engineering department through collaboration with faculty, administration, student body, and alumni, and to represent the department’s goals and values in every necessary case.

Membership: Any ISE students who have finished or are currently finishing their critical tracking are welcome to apply to the ISE Ambassadors. Applications tend to open every semester around weeks 4-8 and are sent out to all ISE students through the ISE advising updates and available on the ISE advising canvas.
