Intern Abroad

Gain hands-on experience and expand your engineering skills in a global setting.

An international internship provides the opportunity to enhance your resume, apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and immerse yourself in another culture.

At the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, there are several pathways to intern abroad depending on your goals, financial aid needs, and whether you want to earn academic credit. These options include UF-Sponsored Programs (for Academic Credit), Non-UF Programs (for Academic Credit), and Non-UF Programs (No Academic Credit)

If you’re looking for professional networking or mentorship to help you get started, the Gator Network, powered by the UF Career Connections Center, is a great place to connect with alumni and professionals worldwide. And if you’re an industry partner or UF Engineering alum interested in supporting global internships, we invite you to partner with us.

UF-Sponsored Programs (for Academic Credit)

Non-UF Programs (No Academic Credit)

These internships are coordinated by companies, NGOs, or placement organizations. While academic credit is not awarded, many opportunities offer a stipend or salary.
