Join one of the most internationally engaged colleges on campus. At the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, you will find the resources and support you need to thrive, from application and arrival through academics and campus life.
Students may join the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering community either as exchange, non-degree-seeking students through one of our partner institutions, or by applying as international degree-seeking students.
Students are eligible to apply for the UF Engineering Exchange Program if they attend a UF engineering partner school and receive a nomination from their home university.
Nominated students must complete the online UFIC exchange application by the posted deadlines. Applicants are required to upload documents verifying visa eligibility (passport), financial resources, English proficiency, and academic preparation (transcript), as required by UFIC.
Course registration cannot begin until all application documents have been submitted and approved by the relevant UF departments.
Engineering exchange students must take at least 75% of their courses within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering unless otherwise specified in the exchange agreement or approved by the engineering advisor.
Information about the nomination process is available on the UF International Center website.
The Schedule of Courses page includes all courses offered by the University of Florida.
