The program also includes a mandatory fall and spring non-residential component.

Course Credit and Grades
Students will earn 2 credits for EGN2020C: Engineering Design & Society. A letter grade will appear on your UF transcript.

Is STEPUP a remedial program?
No. STEPUP is designed to reflect the rigor of a full UF engineering course load, offering a challenging and realistic introduction to academic and professional life at UF. It is ideal for students seeking to grow and push themselves, not for remediation.
