Students join organizations and design teams to gain experience, join a community of peers working towards a common goal, and build their social and professional networks. It’s up to you to decide which organizations and how many organizations to join! Since you are an engineering student, it is encouraged that you join at least one engineering-related organization. The quality of your involvement (depth of contributions and long-term commitment) is valued more than quantity.

Professional Organization: Established for the purpose of helping close the gender gap in the computer science field while educating and empowering women by hosting coding workshops, professional development workshops, hackathons, office hours, guest speakers, GBMs, and more. Open to all students.
